We are working with an award winning NHS Organisation seeking to recruit a Band 6 Procurement Officer. This requires a commitment to working from the office twice per month and the office locations are flexible to Sheffield, Leeds, York or Hull.
Description
Manage procurement activities and ensure compliance with UK public procurement legislation and NHS England policies and procedures.
Have a strong customer focus, commercial acumen, and a pro-active approach
Be well organised with an efficient approach to management of a varied-day to-day workload
Support Category teams with contract and supplier management activity across a range of category areas.
Build excellent working relationships with peers, colleagues, customers, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.
Conduct regular supplier performance reviews to ensure contract compliance.
Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate procurement records.Profile
A thorough understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
Experience working within the NHS or public sector environment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
An ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlineJob Offer
A competitive salary in the range of £37,338 - £44,962 (Please note that this is a banding system that is progressive with length of service so all offers will be made at £37,338)
