A wonderful school in Maidenhead is looking for a Child Support Worker. The school is seeking to employ an individual who is patient, passionate about education, and looking to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
The role is to start ASAP.
What you would do as a Child Support Worker:
1. Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement specialised learning and intervention plans
2. Foster trusting and supportive relationships with students, promoting their well-being and resilience
3. Assist with classroom activities, ensuring students are engaged and participating
4. Help students identify and express their emotions in a healthy manner
The successful Child Support Worker:
1. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children
2. Ability to work collaboratively with a team
3. Understanding of the importance of safeguarding children in education
A good platform for aspiring psychologists, therapists, and counsellors still busy with their studies or individuals looking to gain experience in the classroom.
Graduates in a related field are encouraged to apply.
You must have eligibility to work in the UK and a DBS or be willing to obtain one.
