The Role: Working at our Eastleigh depot, this is a development role that will enable through a detailed progression plan, your ability to fulfil the Service Assistant role. What You’ll Do: Carry out tasks to delivery customer requirements in accordance with laid down operating instructions. Tasks will include Fuelling of traction units Filling toilet water tanks and emptying effluent tanks Filling wholesome water tanks Replenishment of coolants, oils, sanding systems and screenwash Topping up of other ontrain systems, as instructed by your line manager Stand In for the role of Operations Controller as and when required Carry out activities in accordance with documented instructions Ensure all documentation/ paperwork issued is correct and fully completed Carry out Environmental and Chlorination tasks Full job description available on request What You Bring: Qualifications – qualification in Engineering is desirable Experience – previous experience, involvement and understanding of rail vehicle maintenance activities Knowledge – good understanding of depot operations or health and safety requirements Skills – strong communication skills couple with a good standard of education Ready to start your next journey?
