Job Purpose To ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and aerospace regulatory requirements within a high-precision aerospace manufacturing environment. The HSE Officer will promote a strong safety culture aligned with industry standards such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and aerospace quality frameworks like AS9100. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities 1. Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and local safety legislation Maintain compliance with environmental regulations (e.g., EPA requirements where applicable) Support audits aligned with AS9100 and ISO standards Maintain required permits, certifications, and safety documentation 2. Risk Assessment & Hazard Control Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Risk Assessments Identify hazards in machining, composite fabrication, chemical handling, painting, and assembly processes Implement engineering and administrative controls Maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) systems 3. Incident Management Investigate accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents Perform root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone, etc.) Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Maintain incident reporting systems 4. Audit & Continuous Improvement Conduct internal HSE audits and inspections Support external audits (customer, regulatory, aerospace certification bodies) Track KPIs (TRIR, LTIR, environmental metrics) Drive safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives ________________________________________ If this sounds like you, in the first instance please reply to this advert with an updated version of your CV.
