Cygnet Hospital Woking offers a range of mental health services for men and women in a purpose-built therapeutic environment where the focus is on maximising positive outcomes and recovery
We are looking for a friendly and experienced Weekend Receptionists to join our team on a part time basis to provide a professional and welcoming reception experience.
You will work 12hrs per week every Saturday and Sunday 3.00pm - 9.00pm
This role will be based in a fast paced hospital setting, so the ability to process information quickly in a calm and controlled manner at all times is essential.
The ideal candidate must be adaptable and well presented with a friendly disposition with excellent communication skills. Duties will include welcoming all visitors / staff, maintaining security procedures and effective use of the hospital switchboard.
You’re Day-to-Day...
1. Provide a professional, welcoming reception experience
2. Greet visitors & notify the appropriate member of staff of their arrival
3. Ensure visitors sign in & out, and that patients leaving & returning are recorded appropriately
4. Answer & transfer all incoming calls and take messages where appropriate
5. Sort & distribute post, and assist with general office duties as required
6. Keep the reception area clean & tidy
7. Promote the safety & security of all site users and ensure all staff comply with security protocols.
You are...
8. An experienced receptionist with at least 1 or more years of experience working as a Receptionist
9. Organised, naturally helpful and good at multitasking
10. Computer literate – including Windows/Word/Excel/Outlook or equivalent
11. Knowledgeable of telephone systems
12. Polite, friendly & approachable with excellent c
13. GCSE Maths and English qualified, with a good level of numeracy and literacy
14. Diligent & accurate, with an eye for detail and an understanding of confidentiality.
