Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in a Children in Our Care Team in Blackburn Council.
Blackburn with Darwen Childrens Services are looking for an experienced agency social worker to cover inour Children in Our Care (CIOC) Service. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people living with parents, relatives, foster carers, or in residential and semi‑independent settings. Your work will help secure permanence and deliver the best possible outcomes for our children and families and to support Children in Our Care by undertaking high‑quality assessments, planning for permanence, promoting positive outcomes, and ensuring that the child’s voice is central to all decision‑making. You will work collaboratively with families, carers and partner agencies to safeguard children and promote their wellbeing.
