* Coordinate planning and logistics, including venue bookings, equipment, volunteers, officials, accommodation, and marketing materials.
* Act as the onsite Event Manager, supporting a smooth and enjoyable event experience for all involved.
* Line manage and support the Events Officer & Events Systems Officer, providing day-to-day guidance, encouragement and professional development.
* Support the delivery of major gymnastics events, with a focus on inclusive practice and operational excellence.
* Champion safety and wellbeing, promoting British Gymnastics' values and safeguarding standards at all times.

About you
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
* Experience managing events or community programmes, ideally in a sport, leisure or arts setting.
* Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and adapt when needed.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including experience working with a wide range of people.
* A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and a willingness to get involved at every level.
* Knowledge of gymnastics or other sport competition activities is preferable
* A relevant qualification in event management (or equivalent experience) is desirable but not required.
* A commitment to creating an uplifting experience for all
* If you don't meet every point above, please don't let that hold you back-we value potential, lived experience, and a genuine commitment to our vision just as much as formal credentials.
