Overview
Are you a registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with acute experience in the NHS? Or, are you a newly qualifying Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner who will be completing study in the next 6 months? If so, we are recruiting Theatre Practitioners with acute NHS experience across both our City and QMC Campuses at our May recruitment event. Should you be successfully shortlisted you will have the opportunity to have an interview at our NUH recruitment event on Saturday 16th May.
Responsibilities and Expectations

* Provide the best standards of perioperative care as part of a pro‑active, dynamic team of nurses and ODPs.
* Deliver a high standard of service with patient safety and quality as a priority.
* Demonstrate effective team working and adhere to evidence based practice.
* Work multi-skilling and develop practice in anaesthetic and/or surgical scrub support.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with a flexible attitude.
* Cross‑site duties may be required with agreement of the Speciality Team Leader.
Requirements
Applicants must hold or be willing to work towards a mentorship qualification. Shift patterns and on‑call commitment will depend on the speciality you join. All persons appointed to the post must hold registration with their appropriate professional regulatory body and comply with their professional code of conduct. Evidence of ongoing registration will be required.
