About us
DWF are currently seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join their Commercial Insurance team.
The Commercial Insurance team work with a prestigious client base and handle a diverse range of insurance claims, both domestic and international. The work involves claims across a range of policy types including property policies (both home and commercial property), construction and engineering policies (including CAR and EAR), and Public Liability and Products Liability covers across many sectors.
The team deals with the full spectrum of first party policy coverage matters, third party property damage liability claims, and subrogated recoveries.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with and learn from industry leading experts in a friendly and committed working environment. The role presents the prospect to work on a varied caseload with high levels of client contact.
The role is hybrid, with office attendance required 1 or 2 days per week.
About the role
* To manage your own caseload of property related claims, and also assist as a part of a wider team on various large loss matters
* Understand client requirements and manage cases in line with service level agreements and best practice
* Analyse risk and further develop sound judgement enabling the justification of decisions to clients internally and externally
* Prioritise work effectively and to maximise efficiency in working practices
* To provide support and act as the 'go to person' for more junior members in the team
About you
* At least 5+ years PQE working on property damage related claims for insurers
* Technical expertise and a strong interest in Commercial Insurance matters generally
* A proven track record of delivering results within strict deadlines and timeframes
* The ability to communicate and manage often complex issues for both internal and external stakeholders
* A self-motivated individual who can also effectively coach and develop others within the team
