Job Description
* Oversee the organisation's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with its broader goals.
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
* Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
* Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to advise on financial risks and opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Lead the preparation of annual accounts and liaise with external auditors.
* Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and insights.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Finance Director should:
* Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Have robust charity sector experience at Director level
* Strong experience in financial leadership within the not-for-profit sector.
* Proven ability to manage complex financial operations and reporting.
* Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
* Experience collaborating with senior leadership to drive organisational success.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and leadership abilities
