Job Responsibilities
1. Support the PMO Manager in ensuring the required level of PMO governance and control is applied to the assigned Account, aligned with Capita’s best practice framework.
2. Maintain a forecast of supply and demand across the Account/Portfolios, including Project and Work Order requests, and support capacity planning of delivery teams and third parties, tracking resource utilization vs. allocation.
3. Process project finances at the project and Work Order level, analyze variances against forecasted versus actuals, and ensure financial coverage is maintained.
4. Manage Work Order processes, ensuring accurate estimates of costs, timescales, deliverables, and assumptions are produced by the relevant business area.
5. Monitor and manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies (RAID), and lessons learned logs through regular engagement.
6. Produce weekly status reports for management meetings and MI/reporting packs for executive board meetings to facilitate fact-based decision-making.
7. Own the Quality Assurance of all Work Order products for your Account, ensuring they meet client requirements.
8. Embed best practice PMO services, systems, processes, tools, and templates into assigned programs and accounts.
9. Collaborate as part of the PMO team to deliver high levels of customer service, providing support, challenge, and skills development to stakeholders.
10. Provide cover for the PMO Manager for day-to-day activities as required.
11. Mentor and guide PMO Analysts.
What are we looking for?
* Extensive experience in a Senior PMO Analyst role, ideally within the Financial Services sector.
* Self-starter with the ability to take ownership of workloads, processes, and services.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Proven resource management skills, with experience in governance, project cycles, and process improvement.
* Experience with Power BI, Power Queries, and MS Excel.
