The Inn at Kingsbarns is centrally located in the beautiful village of Kingsbarns on the East Neuk of Fife ( 6 miles from St Andrews ) The Inn currently offers 6 luxury bedrooms, a sixteen seat restaurant, outdoor garden seating and a small bar.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining cleanliness and order in hospitality environments. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Previous experience in hotels or janitorial services is highly desirable, as you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Duties
* Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces.
* Ensure all public areas are clean and well-maintained, including hallways, corridors, and restrooms.
* Change bed linens and towels, ensuring that all items are fresh and presentable.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
* Follow established cleaning protocols to maintain health and safety standards.
* Assist with laundry duties as required, ensuring that all items are cleaned and folded properly.
* Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
Qualifications
* Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is preferred.
* Familiarity with janitorial practices and cleaning equipment is an advantage.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
