Job Opportunity: Senior Practitioner (Long Term Temporary)

We are seeking a forward-thinking Senior Practitioner who is a qualified, experienced social worker registered with Social Work England. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of case management, excellent organisational skills, and effective decision-making abilities, including positive risk-taking and conflict resolution.
You should have a solid knowledge base within adult social work, along with strong interpersonal and organisational skills. A developed understanding of social care practice and legislation is essential. You will bring ideas, values, and knowledge to ensure our responses are person-centered, strength-based, safe, and effective, with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for the individuals you support.
You will work independently to meet the requirements of the assessment and review process. Experience in supporting staff through formal and informal supervision, overseeing safeguarding, allocations, triaging, and completing assessments is required. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in hospital discharges, Continuing Health Care, Mental Capacity Act (2005) assessments, mental health, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and older people. You may also have a small caseload.
Essential Criteria:
* Degree in Social Work
* SWE Registration
* Right to work within the UK

* Enhanced DBS/Update service
* References for the last 5 years of employment
