Job Responsibilities
* Serve as the scientific and therapeutic executive lead for internal and external customers in early engagement, RFI, and RFP response through BDM to award.
* Lead customer meetings, including early engagement, identifying strategic needs, therapeutic consultation, and follow-up.
* Drive proposals and bid defenses utilizing therapeutic expertise, clinical development strategy knowledge, and familiarity with Syneos Health capabilities. Propose innovative operational delivery strategies and drug development solutions.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions to accelerate and optimize execution.
* Review and approve strategy, proposals, and budgets, using industry benchmarking, market analysis, and appropriate labor and pricing strategies.
* Coordinate with therapeutic specialists, strategy leads, and project leadership to ensure consistency and best practices across segments.
* Maintain strong therapeutic knowledge to advise customers and teams effectively.
* Participate in strategic planning to drive growth and achieve business goals in the assigned therapeutic area.
* Identify customer needs and trends to contribute to new solution development, collaborating across divisions.
Qualifications
What we're looking for
* BA/BS in life sciences, nursing, or related field, plus extensive clinical research experience in CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech sectors.
* Cross-functional project management experience within clinical trials is required.
* Pharma/CRO experience with a positive client relationship track record.
* Extensive knowledge of therapeutic areas and clinical development strategies.
* Experience in clinical trial budgeting and familiarity with FDA regulations, drug development, and GCP/ICH guidelines.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, ensuring timely, quality project delivery.
* Strong presentation, documentation, interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented approach.
