Role
As an Account Manager you will support the delivery of high quality medical communications across publications, events, strategic programmes, and client initiatives. Working closely with the Client Services team, you will ensure that all projects are delivered on time and on budget. Responsibilities include day‑to‑day client and account management, maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring strategic objectives are met, and overseeing the smooth progression of projects from briefing through to completion.
Financial oversight: managing budgets, monitoring account health, and ensuring revenue and recovery targets are achieved. Business development: identifying opportunities within existing accounts, contributing to proposals, and supporting new business efforts.
Requirements
* Approximately 3‑4 years’ healthcare agency experience in client services roles.
* Experience organising and attending scientific meetings (e.g. congresses, symposia, advisory boards).
* Numeracy skills.
* Strong project management and project delivery skills.
* Ability to co‑ordinate the delivery of multiple projects within an account.
* Relationship development skills – client handling and networking.
* Ability to mentor junior staff.
* Strategic understanding of project / account objectives and contribution to strategic account planning.
