We are recruiting for an experienced temporary part-time Accounts Assistant for a prestigious Hitchin based organisation.
The role is part time, 4 days a week and will be office based in Hitchin - Monday to Thursday in total 28 hours a week.
To start on Monday 14th July for approx. 8 weeks.
You will be joining a small finance team and be reporting into the Head of Finance - you will be using Sage 50 accountancy software.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
* Processing invoices due for payment, including the preparation of payment schedules and updating creditor records on Sage 50.
* Reconciling and processing incomes received, including credit/debit cards and petty cash using Sage 50.
* Performing banking and completing bank reconciliations.
* Downloading banking activities onto a transaction sheet on Excel.
* Other finance related duties which time to time may be assigned by the Head of Finance.
Person Specification:
* Experienced of user of Sage 50 accountancy software.
* Solid intermediate level of Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Experienced Accounts background
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Able to multitask and perform different duties and prioritise tasks
* Good communications skills.
