Fidarsi are partnering exclusively with a leading Global Fintech Trading Platform who have had significant growth over the last 5 years and are now focusing on further expansion across market share and product development. As a result of this significant growth, they are now looking to appoint a UK Head of HR to report directly to the CEO and have direct exposure to the co-founders.
The role will play an integral part in creating the culture that encourages the employees to freely engage with all aspects of the business and perform to the highest levels, whilst keeping the interests of the company and its clients at the forefront of all its decision making and actions.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Work closely with the CEO and shareholders and support other senior management within the business to resolve challenges related to the employment, development, reward, and retention of staff.
* Develop frameworks that support the company’s employees with challenges that relate to their welfare, employment, and development with the business.
* Development and implementation of human resources policies.
* Development and oversight of a Group wide on-boarding and offboarding framework and process that allow for efficient screening, interviewing and selection of candidates.
* Ensuring the platform acts in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations in regards HR in all jurisdictions.
* Developing processes to manage employment relations issues such as grievances and employee welfare.
* Collaborating with other managers in the business, including internationally, to ensure the smooth running of the company from a people perspective.
* Partnering with senior management to establish and roll-out the people-related strategy.
* Providing detailed HR reports to senior management and Boards.
* Responsibility for the administration of employee-related paperwork, such as employment contracts, new starter packs, or formal notices of termination.
* Managing talent pools and succession plans to ensure the company can continue to operate in the future.
* Overseeing training and development of employees, including the development of a best-in-class internal appraisal and development framework
* Administering financial elements such as assistance with payroll (in conjunction with the Group CFO), staff benefits, and pension schemes.
* Managing the overall benefit package offered to employees, ensuring that it remains appropriate for the markets they operate in.
* Handling highly confidential information in an honest and trustworthy way
Skills, knowledge, and expertise required:
* Previous experience of managing a HR function within an IT centric organisation from either FinTech, Technology or engineering sectors.
* Experience of dealing with technology-based leaders, management, and employees.
* Knowledge and experience of HR employment law and practises.
* Extensive knowledge of how a business works from top to bottom and how an HR function operates within that.
* Experience of rolling out people strategies and ensuring standards of culture and performance are monitored and maintained.
* Ability to manage and handle meetings and presentations with senior management and shareholders.
