Job Description
The Role:
To ensure compliance across our client’s product ranges including softines, hardlines and toys. To liaise with suppliers on product approvals and maintain critical path deadlines.
Main Duties:
Product approval
* To take ownership of the relevant areas of responsibility to meet our business needs, and to be totally committed to these.
* Escalate failures in process to your line manager
* Ensure Critical Path deadlines are maintained through supplier monitoring.
* Ensure that Product Lifecyle Management system (PLM) is updated with all information to ensure accurate reporting
* Approval of documents including but not limited to the list below
o Risk Assessments
o Artwork
o Test Plans
o Test Reports
o CR & Packaging Data
o Declarations of Compliance
o Declarations of Conformity
* Production Sample Approval
Documentation and Technical Files
* Maintain technical files, product information files, and regulatory reports.
* Track and manage compliance documentation across SKUs and regions.
* Work with Quality teams and Product Development teams to integrate compliance early in the product lifecycle.
* Work closely with stakeholders and advise on product claims, advertising standards, and legal labelling and ensure they are evidence-based
* Liaise with clients Quality Assurance to resolve compliance issues or product recalls.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For:
* At least 3 years’ of proven successful experience at a similar level in Quality/ manufacturing environment
* Understanding of critical path management
* Understanding of product sealing procedures, including product fit for use
* Experience of working with retailers, brands, buying and sourcing offices, vendors, suppliers and factories
* Highly organised and a team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple product categories simultaneously
* Achieves high productivity at a fast pace, capacity to work under pressure and produce quality work.
* Ability to commute to Coventry area once a month for retailer meetings.
* A responsible, punctual and flexible approach and with a strong work ethic
* Recognises the need for improvement and takes a common-sense approach to problem solving
* Supports an honest and open working environment and is flexible and open to change
* Is self-motivated and proactive, and uses initiative

This role is office based 37.5 hours per week. Core hours are 8.45 am to 5.00 pm. The company operates a flexitime system allowing you to vary your contractual start and finish times by 30 minutes, providing your daily contractual hours are worked each day.
