Credit Controller

Salary up to £28,000
We are exclusively working with a dynamic international business operating across global markets to recruit an experienced Credit Controller. This role is fully office-based so you must be able to reliably commute to their offices in Wellington, Somerset.
Key Responsibilities:
* Chase overdue payments via phone, email, and written correspondence.
* Maintain accurate records of communication and payment arrangements.
* Allocate incoming payments to customer accounts accurately.
* Reconcile accounts and resolve customer queries promptly and professionally.
* Monitor aged debt reports and escalate high-risk accounts.
* Assist with month-end reporting and cashflow forecasting.
* Support the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks.
Skills & Experience:
* At least three years' credit control experience, ideally within FMCG.
* AAT Level 3 or equivalent professional qualification (desirable).
* Strong knowledge of multi-currency export environments.
* Proven track record of hitting collection KPIs.
* Confident negotiator with strong communication skills.
In exchange for this Credit Controller role, you will receive an enhanced pension scheme and work a 35-hour working week.
