Job Title: Receptionist & Administrator
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £12.85ph
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and friendly individual to join our clients busy office as a Receptionist & Administrator. This is a pivotal role providing the first point of contact for our community and ensuring the smooth running of key administrative services.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional who thrives in a varied and fast-paced environment, where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating the main reception, switchboard, and managing all visitor enquiries with a professional and courteous manner.
* Providing comprehensive administrative support to the office team, including managing shared email inboxes, distributing post, and processing payments.
* Leading on the provision of our Reprographics service, ensuring the timely production of booklets, exam papers, and other vital materials.
* Managing the First Aid room, acting as a qualified first aider, and maintaining accurate records (training can be provided for the right candidate).
* Maintaining and updating records, including staff signing-in, fire drill lists, and incident/accident reports.
* Using a range of software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the school's management information system.
* Providing flexible cover for other team members and undertaking any other duties consistent with the post.
The Ideal Candidate:
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* A good standard of education with at least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
* Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role within a busy office environment.
* Strong ICT skills, with confidence in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Experience of organising and prioritising a varied workload.
