The Role

In this brand new role, you’ll bring your creative ideas and creative instinct to make the kind of stuff that people will want to share with their mates – shaping content that’s culturally relevant, resonant and entertaining.
be responsible for everything from ideation to working with a team to launch products to market, all the way through to performance analysis. You’ll use your creative and commercial mindset in this role where you’ll collaborate with our amazing marketing, sales, planning and brewing teams.
You’ll be joining a brand known for bold creativity – from the beers we brew to standout TV campaigns and cultural partnerships through to collaborations with artists, musicians and charities.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Translating Beavertown’s brand objectives and strategy into entertaining, culturally relevant content ideas.
* Writing, presenting, planning and overseeing the execution of standout content initiatives and formats.
* Acting as the creative engine for content ideas across the brand across key social platforms.
* Bringing proactive ideas to the table, spotting opportunities and reacting to relevant news, trends and moments.
* Responding to briefs from the social team and turning them into distinctive concepts and executions.
* Establishing a consistent and resonant tone, attitude and identity across all brand content.
* Working with the Brand Content Producer to brief, manage and develop ideas with executional partners.
* Identifying opportunities for creator collaborations, partnerships and community participation.
* Staying close to trends and content culture, strong judgement about what’s right for the brand and what’s not.
* Keeping an eye on competitor activity and emerging cultural signals to identify new opportunities for the brand.
What You’ll Bring To Us
* Strong experience developing social content ideas in an agency, social first environment or client-side role.
* A creative and editorial mindset with the ability to demonstrate a strong portfolio of content ideas and executions.
* Practical executional skills such as copywriting, directing or editing.
* The ability to spot opportunities for content ideas in culture, conversation and everyday life.
* A strong understanding of how to turn objectives and briefs into distinctive creative ideas that cut through.
* Deep understanding of what makes content succeed on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
* Strong instincts for how brands should show up in social, balancing objectives with authenticity, short term engagement and long term brand building.
* Positive and curious mindset with the initiative to bring energy and ideas to those around you.
* Proactive approach to bringing new ideas rather than waiting for the next brief.
* A collaborative attitude - a team player who encourages others’ ideas and enjoys building great work together.
