About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to lead, plan and deliver wastewater infrastructure programmes across the South East. This is a key operational role responsible for managing multiple projects from conception to completion-ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
You will work closely with clients, designers, engineers, and the wider supply chain to specify robust deliverables, drive programme excellence, and expand workstreams through strong client confidence and commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed project plans including scope, schedule, and budget, aligned with client and our organisational objectives.
Identify, win, and deliver new workstreams; collaborate with the commercial team to develop competitive and profitable proposals.
Allocate and manage resources including labour, subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
Monitor, control, and report project costs to ensure financial targets are met.
Present monthly commercial performance updates to senior management.
Manage project programmes and ensure timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Maintain strong communication with clients, providing regular progress updates and resolving issues promptly.
Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and specifications.
Promote a strong safety culture and enforce all H&S procedures.
Maintain accurate project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Drive continuous improvement and implement best‑practice project delivery.
