Dear prospective candidate,

We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent position as Band Specialty Physiotherapist with the Women’s and Men’s Health Physiotherapy team. The Women’s and Men’s Health Physiotherapy team delivers a comprehensive range of services in gynaecology, urogynaecology, obstetrics, urology, colorectal surgery, and sexual health. We are a team of including clinical and administrative staff, and are based over three sites – the John Radcliffe, Churchill and Horton General Hospitals. We are seeking an experienced physiotherapist who is keen to develop their expertise in pelvic health physiotherapy, and who is dedicated to delivering high quality, responsive and person-centred care. This position is for hours per week, working across days (Monday to Friday).

Main duties of the job
1. To deliver clinical knowledge and skills in the care of those presenting with a range of pelvic health conditions.
2. To maintain clinical records in line with Trust and professional standards.
3. To contribute to induction processes, clinical supervision and teaching within the physiotherapy team and broader MDT.
4. To act as a clinical educator for pre-registration physiotherapy students.
5. To establish and maintain effective working relationships within relevant multidisciplinary teams.
6. To contribute to service development, and to participate in the design and implementation of a service strategy that aspires to be highly responsive, person-centred and clinically excellent.

The successful candidate will be expected to have excellent communication and people skills, to be competent at delivering physiotherapy intervention without direct supervision but with delegated autonomy within the scope of the role, and to become an integral part of the multidisciplinary team.
