We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Biomedical Scientist who is professional, reliable, innovative, and flexible to join our friendly and dedicated team in the Histopathology department at Ipswich Hospital. In this role, you will coordinate and supervise daily operations within the service and handle both complex and routine Histopathology investigations.
The department processes approximately 26,000 requests annually, including non-gynae cytology. It holds full UKAS accreditation and IBMS training status.

In this role, you will be involved in day-to-day supervision and delivery of the Histopathology service. You must be a HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist with significant experience in a Histology laboratory, knowledge of accreditation requirements, and a commitment to the discipline's development.
You will manage daily service operations, coordinate team activities, process specialist investigations, and ensure the quality of results.
