Luxury Travel Sales Manager Job Description
Our client is the UK's leading luxury tour operator. They are recruiting an experienced Travel Sales Manager to lead their new Edinburgh store.
This role involves managing a team of travel sales consultants, ensuring high levels of customer service, and developing business to increase sales and repeat clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Meet and exceed retail sales targets.
2. Drive sales, close bookings, and achieve budgeted operating profit.
3. Monitor staff performance and store productivity.
4. Oversee daily operations and administration of the branch.
5. Develop staff careers and growth.
6. Create local marketing initiatives to boost sales and build client relationships.
Experience Required:
* Experience managing a retail travel store with profit and staff responsibilities.
* Proven sales results and excellent customer service skills.
* Passion for travel, especially long-haul destinations.
* Strong understanding of sales and commercial aspects of tour operating, including scheduled flights.
Salary and Benefits:
* Base salary of £35,000.
* Performance-related bonus.
* 23 days holiday plus holiday concessions across all company brands.
* Familiarization trips (FAM trips).
