Hours of Work: 35 Hours on a rota basis, with shifts between 8.00am 9.00pm Monday Friday
As a Support Worker, you will provide empowering, trauma-informed, and holistic support to tenants living in our supported housing. You will navigate the fast-paced environment of our two hostels for families, offering assistance to residents facing a wide range of needs including domestic abuse, substance misuse, mental health challenges, and child protection issues. Your role will involve delivering these vital services with a positive, psychologically informed approach that embodies best practice, making a lasting difference in the lives of the families you support.
Support Worker Requirements:
Ability to drive and access a car daily for work travel between hostels
Good standard of education with a Level 4 qualification in Advice and Guidance or willingness to obtain it
Demonstrable experience in supporting adults, young people, and children
Knowledge of psychologically informed environments and trauma-based approaches
A positive attitude with a passion for helping others and building strong relationships
