International Benefits Specialist

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected professional services firm and help clients build competitive, compliant, and engaging benefits programmes.
They are currently looking for a skilled and proactive employee benefits professional to join the team, reporting directly to the head of department. You will play a key role in supporting and growing their employee benefits offerings and helping clients implement tailored benefits solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise clients on the design, implementation, and ongoing governance of their employee benefits programmes
* Monitor and advise clients on regulatory requirements, including pension and insurance schemes
* Develop and share benchmark intelligence on market norms and emerging practices
* Manage third-party relationships with insurers, brokers, and payroll teams on behalf of clients
* Prepare communication materials and support clients with employee engagement and change initiatives
* Ensure clients’ benefits systems, processes, records, and documentation are accurately maintained
* Oversee the annual renewal cycle for benefits plans, including pricing reviews, claims analysis, and provider performance assessments
* Support clients with escalated employee queries, complex claims, and provider issues
* Conduct regular client reviews to ensure benefits remain aligned with strategic objectives and budgets
* Support clients with audits, risk assessments, and compliance reporting
* Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders at client organisations
* Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client accounts
* Contribute to proposals, pitches, and thought leadership pieces
* Line-manage junior consultants and support team development
* Lead internal projects to enhance tools, processes, and service delivery
Experience:
You will have strong knowledge of employee benefits, insurance structures, and regulatory frameworks, with significant experience in insurance broking, consulting, or employee benefits environments.
International exposure is desirable but not essential. Key strengths include:
