Salary: Up to £34,779 (depending on experience and qualifications)

What You’ll Do
* Support young people with daily routines, including getting ready for school, meal preparation, and planning activities.
* Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
* Lead shifts and deputise the home manager.
* Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
* Plan and participate in activities such as trips, movie nights, and creative projects.
* Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.
Where You’ll Do It
The home is a two-bedroom, large detached property with a games room, lounges, and a large back garden. There is parking at the front and space for activities and downtime. The role currently supports one female young person aged 16. Daily life includes a range of outings, activities, and opportunities to support the young person’s development. The team works in pairs, with two staff sleeping at the home overnight.
Who You Are
* Warm, patient, a great listener, and encouraging — focused on achieving outcomes for others.
* Driver with a full UK driving licence.
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare and two years of experience in a residential setting.
