Senior Engineer – Concrete
Location: Belgium
About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Engineer with specialized expertise in concrete design, construction, and performance. You’ll be a key technical leader, providing guidance across a range of projects involving structural concrete, precast elements, and innovative construction techniques. From concept to completion, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, durability, and success of our work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design, specification, and implementation of concrete structures and systems
2. Oversee quality control and testing of concrete mixes and materials
3. Collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams to ensure technical excellence
4. Perform structural assessments and provide solutions for concrete repair and retrofitting
5. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement in best practices
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and sustainability goals
What We’re Looking For:
7. Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline
8. Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is highly desirable
9. Minimum 4+ years’ experience in concrete engineering
10. Strong understanding of Eurocodes, BS standards, or equivalent
11. Experience with reinforced, prestressed, or precast concrete systems
12. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
