We are now seeking a motivated and experienced Team Leader to help us deliver exceptional outcomes for the people we support.
Role Overview
As a Team Leader in Supported Living you will oversee a dedicated team of Support Workers and ensure that individuals receive personalised support tailored to their needs, preferences and goals. You will by example, promote independence and help create safe, positive and enabling environment for everyone
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, support and supervised Support Workers across the service,
* Ensure the delivery of personalised strengths - based support that promotes independence and choice,
* Complete and maintain support plan, risk assessments and daily records,
* Oversee medication process and ensure safe administration,
* Support individuals with daily living skills, community participation and wellbeing,
* Build strong positive relationships with service users, families and multi - disciplinary professionals,
* Assist with rota planning and ensure adequate staffing levels,
* Support the on boarding, training and development of new and existing staff.
* Respond professionally to incidents, safeguarding concerns and emergencies,
About you
* Experience working in supported living or a similar social care setting is essential.
* Confident in supporting adults with mental health needs.
* Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills,
* A compassionate, empowering and person - centred approach.
* NVQ level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) is desirable.
* A good understanding of safeguarding, positive behaviour support (PBS) and regulatory framework.
