GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from a reliable Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Sheffield (S35). This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with young people and want to gain valuable experience in a school environment. As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will supervise pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring pupils stay focused and complete the work provided. Key Responsibilities: Supervise classes and deliver pre-planned lessons as a Cover Supervisor. Maintain positive classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Support pupils in completing tasks and remaining engaged in learning. Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil progress and behaviour. Assist with maintaining a safe and structured learning environment. Requirements: Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Confidence, adaptability, and a professional approach. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
