Responsibilities
:
1. Perform structural damage assessments, repairs, and replacements of aircraft frame skins and components
2. Carry out metal fabrication tasks including drilling, riveting, bolting, countersinking, and corrosion removal to tight tolerances
3. Manufacture and install repair parts using aircraft-specific workshop tools and machines
4. Interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation, and work instructions with precision
5. Accurately document maintenance and rectification activities in digital and manual records
6. Certify completed work in accordance with regulatory and company quality standards
7. Collaborate across teams to ensure effective maintenance scheduling and high operational availability of the aircraft
8. Adhere to strict safety protocols when working at height or within confined spaces on the aircraft
Essential Requirements:
9. Proven experience in metal rectification; aircraft structural repair experience highly desirable
10. Completion of a recognised BTEC/ONC/NVQ Level 3 in Civilian or Military Aircraft Engineering
11. Familiarity with technical documentation and maintenance record-keeping systems
12. Strong understanding of aircraft structural principles and repair techniques
