Brinsworth Academy is seeking a Pastoral Leader to play a vital role in supporting staff and subject areas to ensure the delivery of effective teaching and learning across the Academy.

You will lead and manage the delivery of pastoral support for an allocated year group, supporting the personal development, welfare, and behaviour of all students. This will include setting, developing and implementing policies, plans, targets, practices and procedures, to improve and maintain student behaviour and conduct. A key part of your role will involve maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely and effective communications with stakeholders at all levels.

You will need proven experience of working with children and young people in a variety of settings. You will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a sound understanding of the educational sector, and experience of resolving issues affecting young people. Strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills are essential, and you will be committed to engaging in continuing professional development relevant to the role.
