You will be responsible for the execution of the Franchise Strategic Plan in the InterContinental geographies (covering 23 legal entities, 8 clusters, and 30 distributor markets). Responsible for driving the brand marketing plans in these territories and ensuring fulfilment of objectives consistent with overall strategy and annual budget. Incumbent will play a strategic pivotal role between the franchise and InterCons region ensuring that top markets are represented in the global brands teams and will drive the global strategy and have the right opportunities to thrive. You will be part of the Intercontinental extended leadership team and a hands-on contributor to the commercial transformation of the region. Your day at Ferring Key Responsibilities will include: Drive marketing and launch excellence, ensuring operational support and execution accountability. Build strategic market presence: Including IBD expansion or creation from scratch, and the scaling of GP/pharmacy channels, depending on country maturity and opportunity. Act as a strategic liaison between the franchise and the region, representing IC priorities in global brand teams and aligning global strategies with local needs. Co-develop and support scalable commercial toolkits to elevate local execution, particularly in under-resourced countries. Accountability: Develop annual, and long range regional strategic marketing plan including strategic assessment for the high potential geographies and definition of key pan-region programs in close collaboration with the InterCons SVP and Country/Cluster GMs and their marketing teams. Execute franchise strategy and bring the full potential in the top InterCons markets including Launch and Marketing Excellence approach with relevant KPIs as well as fostering high performance in the local teams. Support and develop ITC IBP’s and activities to realise potential and support budget delivery. Leverage Ferring platforms of global resources and ensure pull through of key global programs and strategies into markets. Strengthen feedback & knowledge sharing and commercial and marketing excellence in Intercontinental region through development of community creating community feedback loops within region and back into Franchise. Identify marketing talents in Intercontinental region and mentor them to grow and develop. Represent the InterCon on the global brand team and ensures that the co-created strategies represent the needs of InterCon. Ensure that the key strategic marketing programs of the franchise are executed in the region by the countries/region e.g. pan regional congresses or education initiatives. Ownership of the budget for such program development and work in close cooperation with the SVP InterCons and local marketing teams for the execution. Ensure launch excellence capabilities throughout the region. Behind our innovation…There’s you Bachelor’s degree level in Business/ Marketing and/or Science. Master`s degree level in Business/ Marketing and/or Science and/or MBA preferred. 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience with preferably 5 years plus in successful Business Unit management or Senior Brand management/medical marketing. Strong marketing experience needed, launch experience preferred. Experience in an International position will be a MUST. Strong presentation and written communication skills. Ability to interact with Senior Management and work in cross-functional teams. Strong knowledge of InterCon markets and TA preferred. Significant international travel expected across InterCons markets and to HQ on demand.
