ER Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage register of live cases – investigations, grievances, disciplinaries etc. to Ensure effective, timely case management of people related issues.
* Coordinate arrangement of ER cases on a timely basis in line with HPC Common Framework Agreement.
* Support the MEH ER Manager with the provision of day-to-day advice and guidance to supervisors and managers.
* Liaise with MEHJV parent companies HR / ER teams as required
* Support MEH Local Joint Council meetings, acting as note-taker.
* Liaise with HPC recognised Trade Union Convenors as required.
* Support ER Manager in project work.
* Consistently act with integrity and confidentiality.
* Compile ER weekly management reports activities.
* Advise and coach managers to effectively manage Employee Relations issues in line with HPC Common Framework Agreement.
* All other duties as required.
Key Requirements:
Essential:
* Previous HR or ER experience preferred
* CIPD Level 3 or Level 3 CertRP or working towards
Desirable:
* Excellent MS office skills – particularly MS Excel
* Strong administrative and decision-making skills.
* High attention to detail
* Excellent communicator
* Previous experience in a Trade Union/construction environment advantageous
