Large door and window manufacturer based in Wakefield is looking for a Quality control supervisor for their growing operation. This would suit someone with a quality control background as ensuring a quality product is delivered to their customers is part of their ongoing commitment to their customers.
Your responsibilities will include:-
1. Monitoring personnel ensuring the team are producing a quality product
2. Being responsible for identifying and implementing cost efficiencies and facilitate corrections to malfunctions of equipment by dealing across different departments.
3. Responsibility for the root cause analysis and ensuring solutions are identified and implemented
4. Coaching and development of employees
5. Compliance of of health and safety on site
The type of person for this role must be someone with Quality control knowledge in a fast moving company. You must have excellent supervisory skills and the ability to coach a growing team. Ideally you will be qualified to NVQ level 3 in management and have experience with UPVC.
