Overview
Active Pathways is looking for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our team in Yorkshire. You will work across multiple sites in Halifax and Leeds, supporting recovery and promoting independence through high-quality interventions in a mental health supported living setting.
Base pay range
Location: Heathy House, Halifax (with work across additional services in Leeds)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute break)
Responsibilities
* Providing one-to-one and group interventions designed to enhance daily living skills and promote social inclusion.
* Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans addressing each service user’s journey.
* Contributing to the development of Occupational Therapy pathways and participating in initiatives that drive service improvements.
* Offering support across three sites in Halifax and Seacroft, Leeds. Travel between sites will be ad-hoc and mileage reimbursed at 45p per mile.
About the services
* Heathy House is a 10-bed rehabilitation service that provides a step-down residential service for individuals with mental health needs.
* Park Place is a purpose-built supported living development that provides care for individuals with mental health conditions.
* Millcroft is a purpose-built step-down residential rehabilitation service, specialising in mental health support.
Experience required
* A Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
* At least 6 months post-graduate experience, preferably within mental health settings.
* A proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a varied caseload, with strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and service users.
* A valid driving licence and access to a car, due to multi-site travel.

About the Therapy Team
In this supportive environment, you will collaborate with a team including a Consultant Clinical Psychologist/Head of Therapy, a Lead Occupational Therapist, and other Occupational Therapists and assistants. You will be fully supported with supervision from a Band 7 OT overseeing services in Yorkshire and Lancashire, plus guidance from the Lead OT and Head of Therapies.
