Job Summary
As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll be making sure the level of clinical care we offer goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. This means providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Managers’ absence, and supervising/coaching colleagues to provide a service that’s unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.

Key Responsibilities
As a Deputy Home Manager you will:

About You
* Valid NMC PIN and knowledge of National Standards and the NMC Code of Practice.
* Experience in person‑centred care planning within a care home.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong time‑management and record‑keeping abilities.
* Kind and considerate in all interactions with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding
All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You must be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, report concerns and, if necessary, raise escalation. You will also seek advice and support when required.

Person Specification
Essential:
* Valid NMC PIN.
Desirable:
* Additional experience in person‑centred care planning.
* Experience in a senior support/management role within a care home.
