About the Role We are looking for an ambitious and strategic Adult Learning and Commercial Manager to lead the development and delivery of impactful training solutions for local businesses and community partners. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with employers to identify skills gaps, design tailored training plans, and implement programmes that enhance workforce capability and drive business growth. You'll also play a key role in maximising funding opportunities, supporting economic development, and aligning our adult learning and commercial offer with regional priorities. This is a dynamic opportunity to shape meaningful partnerships and make a tangible difference to both employers, stakeholders and learners across the region. About You You will be an experienced and motivated professional with a strong background in designing and managing adult and/or commercial training programmes. Holding GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above, you will also possess relevant qualifications in Management or Leadership and ideally be a qualified assessor and internal quality assurer (TAQA). A Health and Safety qualification, or a willingness to achieve one, is also required. You'll bring a proven track record of working collaboratively with external partners and businesses, securing funding streams such as the Apprenticeship Levy or grants, and driving stakeholder engagement through strategic partnerships. Your ability to develop effective marketing and outreach strategies will be key to promoting training services and achieving impactful results. A commitment to ongoing professional development is essential.
