Prospect Health is recruiting a Clinical Lead GP for a medium sized teaching practice near York. The practice are looking for a GP to provide overall clinical leadership in the practice and manage a team of 5 Salaried GPs, as well as a nursing and clinical support team. You will be fully supported by an experienced Practice Manager. You will be required to work 3 clinical sessions a week with a 4th CPD/management session. The workload in your clinical sessions is manageable with 14 patients contacts per session and home visits are rare. The practice uses SystmOne.
Key Duties
* 4 sessions a week available (3 clinical and 1 CPD/management session)
* Provide clinical leadership to the practice with support from an experienced Practice Manager
* Practice list size of 9,000 patients
* Team of 5 Salaried GPs, 3 Advanced Clinical Practitioners, 3 Practice Nurses and 3 HCAs.
* Modern purpose built health centre
* Manageable workload of 14 patients per session
* Home visits are rare
* Practice uses SystmOne

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
* Registered as a GP on the GMC Register
* Included on the NHS National Performers List
* Right to work in the UK, although tier 2 visa sponsorship can be provided too
* Have a minimum of 2 years post GP training experience
