MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing, specialised software company in the video games industry who are recruiting for a (junior) Sales Development Representative. This company is looking for a Sales Development Representative with a passion for gaming and a hunger to break into the industry. Working behind the scenes this Sales Development Representative will work closely with game studios as a technical partner, providing infrastructure, multiplayer features, and backend development for custom game systems. Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Interest in video games and understanding of the industry landscape
* Proven ability in prospecting and lead generation (B2B or similar)
* Comfortable with cold outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone
* Organised and proactive, able to work independently and manage a pipeline
* Confident in client-facing situations and adapting tone for different audiences
* Creative mindset for identifying niche opportunities and building campaigns
Roles and Responsibilities
* Lead generation through cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn
* Research and identify niche video games and studios suitable for outreach
* Qualify inbound and outbound leads, moving them through the sales funnel
* Manage email campaigns and outreach strategies
* Prepare custom pitch decks tailored to client needs
* Engage with existing clients to build relationships and upsell services
* Attend industry conferences and networking events when needed
* Build and manage a sustainable sales pipeline from scratch
