About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Transport Manager to oversee our transport operations. You will be responsible for managing drivers, vehicles, and compliance to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and safe delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day transport operations and driver schedules.
* Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, including driver hours and vehicle maintenance.
* Monitor fleet performance and implement cost-saving measures.
* Liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve delivery issues.
* Maintain accurate records and produce operational reports.
* Lead and motivate the transport team to achieve KPIs.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Transport Manager or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of transport legislation and compliance.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Proficient in transport management systems and Microsoft Office.
