What You'll Actually Be Doing
Maximising plant availability
Owning PPMs, breakdowns, mechanical repairs
Diagnosing running and process faults
Engineering long-term fixes, not temporary patches
Improving conveyors, motors, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, rotating equipment, and industrial mechanical systems
Working with external contractors when needed
Driving compliance, safety and H&S best practiceIn short:

You might currently hold titles like:
Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter, Shift Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Fitter, Plant Engineer, Multiskilled Maintenance (mechanical bias), Maintenance Fitter, or similar.
If your world is equipment, production, reliability, and mechanical engineering-you qualify.
What You Get
£50,720 per year + overtime available
Full-time, 12-hour shifts
4 days on / 4 days off
(2 days, 2 nights, 12-hour shifts)
