The job itself
Lady in her 50’s living in Beverley with multiple health conditions which will be discussed at interview requires 2 x Support Workers for 20 hours per week. Please specify on your application / CV how many hours per week you would be interested in.
Duties will include support with personal care & dressing, making drinks and snacks, support taking her out shopping and domestic duties, attending appointments.
Person required: someone who is reliable, who has preferably had experience of working within a caring role.
Ideal candidate would also be someone who has a clean driving licence and has a vehicle that can fit a wheelchair in. Non-Smoker required.
A genuine occupational requirement for a female worker exists for this post under the Equality Act 2010 due to privacy and decency.
Working Hours/Days: Monday – Friday 10am – 2pm (with some flexibility on these times – to be discussed at interview)
DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post – Cost to be met by the local authority.
