We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Quality (QA) to join our leadership team in the UK. This critical role will also act as the Responsible Person (RP) on our Wholesale Dealers Authorisation (WDA) Licence. You'll be instrumental in ensuring all group activities consistently meet or exceed Good Distribution Practice (GDP) compliance, aligning with the full scope of our licence. What You'll Do: As our Head of Quality, you'll be at the forefront of our compliance strategy, overseeing all aspects of quality and regulatory adherence. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading our Medicines Licences: Taking full ownership of our WDA(h) licence. Strategic Compliance: Developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust strategy to ensure group-wide compliance with all relevant guidance, regulations, and licences for wholesaling and importing medicines, medical devices, and cosmetic products in the UK. Quality Management System (QMS) Mastery: Maintaining and enhancing our comprehensive QMS, including document control, change control, validation, deviation management, CAPA programs, complaint management, and SOP oversight. Audit Leadership & Improvement: Leading internal and external audits, driving continuous improvement initiatives across all operations. Expert Guidance: Providing essential QA guidance and support to cross-functional internal teams. Training & Development: Delivering impactful GDP training to colleagues, ensuring consistent alignment with industry regulations. Performance Measurement: Developing and monitoring key QA performance indicators (KPIs) to track efficacy and identify areas for enhancement. Risk Mitigation: Ensuring the timely resolution of all QA-related issues and deviations to minimise risk to products, customers, patients, and the supply chain. Regulatory Liaison: Collaborating with external industry bodies and serving as the primary contact for external agencies and clients on QA/Regulatory matters, including audit management. Team Leadership: Mentoring and developing QA and Regulatory team members to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce. Marketing Material Approval: Acting as the approver for all marketing materials related to medicines or medical devices.
