An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Resident Doctor (ST4 or above) with an interest in leadership, management, and quality improvement to join The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust as a chief registrar.

Main duties of the job
The chief registrar role will suit trainees who:

Applications are open to senior resident doctors who:
* Are at ST4 level or above
* Are working full-time or less-than-full-time
* Have a national training number
* Have full GMC registration
This is a fixed-term role for a minimum of 12 months, which can be undertaken as part of a programme or out of programme (training or experience).
In the first instance, applications must be discussed with your educational supervisor and training programme director (TPD), and permission to apply must be granted by the TPD.
About us
The chief registrar will be mentored by a senior clinical leader within the organisation, gaining insight into NHS leadership and management processes, along with a deeper understanding of NHS structures and stakeholders.
The role includes attendance at modules delivered as part of the RCP's bespoke development programme, covering topics such as change management, team culture and development, quality improvement, leadership, influencing, and personal resilience.
