To assist with the checking and maintenance of the school’s ICT resource for safe, effective use by students and staff. To work the ICT team to ensure that IT and acceptable use policies are adhered to. Liaising with suppliers and external providers, as directed by the ICT Network Manager or a member of the Senior Leadership Team. To support staff and student use of ICT within the classroom, and remotely when required. To assist with the maintenance of user accounts in a Microsoft Active Directory environment. Maintenance of desktop PCs and laptops, including building, configuring, updating, and deploying hardware to users. Troubleshooting PC, wired and wireless LAN problems. Troubleshooting and configuration of AV equipment including projectors and speakers. To work with the team to deploy new software applications and updates to existing software packages. Support & Development of school ICT systems such as G Suite and Microsoft 365 Applications e.g. Teams, Google classroom. Provide advice and guidance on the use of ICT systems. To assist with the accurate documentation of systems and assets. To assist the ICT helpdesk, escalating support calls to the ICT Network Manager/Team leads in a timely fashion to ensure effective and efficient service desk call resolution. Follow ICT system maintenance procedures. Follow backup, virus protection and security procedures.
