Job Summary
The Domestic Engineer plays a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects within the domestic sector. This position requires a strong foundation in various engineering disciplines, including mechanical, civil, and chemical engineering. The ideal candidate will possess excellent project scheduling skills and a comprehensive understanding of industry standards such as ASME codes. The Domestic Engineer will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.
* Utilize CAD software for drafting and designing engineering plans.
* Conduct system design and analysis for various domestic engineering projects.
* Apply knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles in project assessments.
* Collaborate with teams on process engineering tasks related to oil & gas projects.
* Ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards throughout all phases of project execution.
* Engage in technical writing to document project specifications and reports.
* Provide mechanical knowledge and support for horizontal drilling operations.
* Oversee project engineering activities, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
* Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and project updates.
Experience
Candidates should have a robust background in one or more of the following areas:
* Mechanical Engineering
* Civil Engineering
* Chemical Engineering
* Industrial Engineering
* Geotechnical Engineering
Additionally, experience with the following skills is desirable:
* Project scheduling techniques
* Oil rig operations and maintenance
* GIS applications in engineering projects
* Drafting using CAD software
* Controlling experience for managing project budgets and timelines
