VCF Infrastructure Engineer (VMware Cloud Foundation)
Location: Glasgow – 2–3 days onsite per week, remainder remote

Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced VCF Infrastructure Engineer to support an end-to-end VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9) implementation for a tier 1, global enterprise.
This is a strategic, long-term engagement as part of a global infrastructure transformation programme. The role requires deep hands-on expertise across the VMware cloud infrastructure stack, alongside automation and configuration capabilities using Python and Ansible.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver an end-to-end VCF implementation, from design through build, migration, and operational handover
2. Engineer and support core VMware Cloud Foundation components, including: (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, SDDC Manager)
3. Support migration from legacy VMware estates into VCF
4. Use Ansible and Python to support Infrastructure automation, Configuration management, Repeatable deployment and operational tasks
5. Work closely with architecture, platform, security, and operations teams
