A family run 31 bedroom, 3-star hotel on the outskirts of the city of Chelmsford, offering 5-star service and standards to all its guests in all styles of business including Restaurant, Lounge, Afternoon Tea, Conference & Banqueting is looking for an Assistant Manager to expand the already existing team reporting to the Hotel Manager.
The successful candidate needs to have a "hands on" attitude, excellent organisational skills and lead by example to motivate their staff and work alongside the rest of the management team to achieve the best possible customer experience.
A minimum of 2 years' management experience is required incorporating all-round hotel operational knowledge and a proven track record of mentoring and developing talent within the operation.
You must be passionate about the hospitality industry and possess the drive to constantly deliver top-class customer service.
This is a full-time position, and the hours of work will be 5 days per week. You must have a flexible approach to work various shift patterns and be able to work weekends and evenings.
Due to the location of the hotel your own transport is essential.
